I had the pleasure of taking staff headshots for Leading Educators here in New Orleans. Here are the highlights.
I spent a full day photographing the Mackelmore/Ryan Lewis Show put on by Go90 at the Civic Theater in New Orleans. Got to see the stage go up, the sound check, the artists backstage, and let me say, it was all quite the production. It was like watching a million little worker ants. Nobody stopped all day and it reminded my why I love this job so much- the art of production. It fascinates me the time and energy that goes into these things! All for one brief night, hours really.
It was all worth it in the end. The show definitely did not disappoint. Mackelmore has a great stage presence and the crowd was soaking up every drop of it. He even gave them two encores.
All in all, a great day/night and another great take on photos for my archive.
Here is a brief recap of it all...
My friends Monica and Aaron got married this past weekend in Chicago, IL. They asked me to take the photos and of course I jumped at the chance! They kept the wedding small - just close family and friends, so it was a great opportunity to have some fun with the photos. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Bristol. Afterwards we headed downtown for some obligatory 'bean' shots and then had some fun on the streets. Here are a few highlights but to seem more, please visit www.adriennebattistella.pixieset.com/monicaandaaron.
(I'm typically not in the habit of shooting weddings, but if you are having a small offbeat wedding like this, please shoot me an email for more info on pricing. Thanks!)
